Marrakech to Imlil and Aremd on Day 1

After breakfast at the hotel, we will pick you up and drive you to Imlil hamlet, then on to Aremd, a picturesque village at 1900 meters. We meet mule-drivers and an Atlas guide from here. As we remain in lodging with dinner in Aremd, enjoy a comfortable hotel in the Atlas Mountains. Comfortable hotel in Atlas Mountains.

Day 2: Trek to Aremd and climb to 2660m - 5 hours

On the second day, we hike through Aremd Valley to a pass of 2660 meters, where we will experience Atlas Mountains in a guided trek, and the climb will give you a view of the valley and the Atlas Mountains range. We hike back to Aremd village via the Mazzik valley after examining the area. Overnight in Aremd's pleasant hotel. Comfortable Aremd lodging.

Day 3: Trekking in the Atlas Mountains and a visit to a traditional Berber community (about 6 hours)

Visit the Berber village of Tamater, located above the Imlil, on a guided Atlas trek. We'll cross the Tizi n'Tamatertà pass at 2279 meters before hiking down to Tachddirt hamlet, where you'll spend the night in the beautiful Tigmi Tachddirt guesthouse. Charming lodging Tigmi Tachddirt.

Day 4: Tigmi Tachddirt - walk to Tizi n'Likemt pass (3550 m) - Azib Likemt - 7 hours

Today we leave Tachdirt village and embark on an adventurous hike to the 3550 m Tizi n'Likemt pass. We shall be able to observe a portion of Toubkal's scenery. We trek down to the waterside village of Azib Likemt, which is 1000 meters down, after lunch. We camp in Azib Likemt for the night.

Day 5: Crossing the pass with Azib Likemt -Tizi n'Ouria - 6h and 30 minutes of trekking

We begin our adventure trek today by crossing the Tinzart River and passing through a small gorge on our way to the Tizi n'Ouria pass, which is located at 3109 meters. We continue our journey down to the valley of Ouria, which is at 1750 meters, after a lunch break. Camping for the night with a traditional meal.

Day 6: Tizi n’Ouria - Lake Ifni (2295 m)

We begin our 9-day Toubkal Trekking and Hiking today, passing through the lush valley environment on our way to the Ifni Lake, Morocco's largest lake. It's at a height of 2295 meters above sea level. Camping site for the night

Day 7: Lake Ifni - walk across the Atlas Mountains at 3650 meters - 6 hours and 30 minutes of hiking

Today we hike down the Toubkal mountain to prepare for the final ascent the next day, passing through the stunning Atlas Mountains panorama to reach the pass Tizi n'Ouanoums at 3650 m. After a break, we return to the pass Tizi n'Ouanoums at 3650 m. At 3207 meters, we arrive at the Neltner refuge, which will be our home for the night. There are 1500 meters of ascent and 600 meters of descent.

Day 8: Neltner Refuge - 10 hour trek to Djebel Toubkal's top

We'll have to get up earlier today because we're hiking to the top of Jebel Toubkal, Atlas' highest mountain at 4167 meters. We take in the breathtaking views from the summit, then descend to the shelter for lunch. We'll hike down to Aremd, where you'll spend the final night of your Atlas journey in a lovely Atlas Mountains hotel. There is a 1000 meter ascent and a 2200 meter descent. Comfortable Atlas Mountains hotel.

Aremd - Imlil - Marrakech, Day 9

Today we climb from Aremd to Imlil, where you will be met by your driver and transferred to Marrakech. Trekking and hiking on Toubkal for 9 days has come to an end.

TOUBKAL TREK 9 DAYS EQUIPMENT:

Climb the Toubkal with best guide:  For best experience you will need walking boots and socks, Trekking pants and Comfortable shoes/slippers. We recommend also rain-pants for hiking trips in Morocco. Do not forget Underwear / Long johns / T-shirts and Hat /Goggles (in winter Toubkal trek) and sunglasses (summer Toubkal Trek). For adventure trips take also Lightweight thermal or fleece gloves , Walking stick is recommended for adults in good condition, 3 to 4 season sleeping bag is good to take with you , Basic First Aid Kit is must -to-take-with, and other personal equipment.
